Meet the Team: Victoria Mackie
26th April 2023
Continuing our ‘Meet the Team’ series, today we introduce Victoria Mackie, Senior Customer Wellbeing Manager.
Tell us about your role at Trickle?
I am one of the team leads within the Customer Wellbeing team here at Trickle. When I joined in 2020 the team was relatively new, it was a really exciting time getting to be part of the company’s growth! We now have a good portfolio of clients who are all invested in creating workplaces that foster wellbeing and look after their people.
My role is to ensure our clients have a great experience, help them create and meet their objectives, and work with the rest of the team to make sure they get the most out of using Trickle.
What is your favourite part of being in the Trickle team?
I can’t choose just one thing! As well as getting to work alongside some incredibly talented and inspiring people, I’m learning so much. As Trickle is growing, I have the opportunity to be involved with projects across the organisation which allow me to help create new and exciting solutions.
Working with clients who have a genuine passion for listening to their people and taking action to make meaningful changes is so rewarding too.
What does the perfect weekend look like?
Definitely some outdoors time, a good hike ending in a swim in the river, or skiing followed by a cosy pub meal. I also love practicing yoga and meeting with friends to catch up over coffee or wine.
If you had a time machine, would you choose to go to the future or the past – and why?
I’d go to the past and have a quick stop at Woodstock 69. I love music, and I think that Woodstock would have such an amazing buzz with great energy, so to get to experience that would be incredible!
Tell us an interesting fact about yourself
I’m a qualified yoga teacher!
I‘ve been practicing yoga for a number of years, and pursued my passion when I went travelling in 2019. I love learning the history and philosophy of yoga as well as the opportunities to meet new people. In 2021, the Trickle team encouraged me to complete my training in Barcelona. Since then, I have held online classes for my colleagues, as well as in local coffee shops.
